WALL PADDING
WALL PADDING – HIGH IMPACT PROTECTION
Wall Padding: There is nothing like creating a seamless, wall-to-floor fighting surface which can protect against injury and cushion blows easily. Covering all surfaces in your gym with padding allows the athletes who train in your gym the ability to train with confidence, knowing that you’ve got their safety in mind as they spar. Below, you’ll find the top reasons to invest in Gym Mats For Walls:
1. GYM WALL PADS PROTECT AGAINST INJURY
Frank Shamrock, a MMA icon, has put it this way, ” If you’re going full contact, pad every surface… at the end of my career I had a pad on every square inch of my body.” Padding the surfaces in your training centre can be one of the best things you can do to promote athlete safety and to help ensure that they have long, successful careers. Made from 50mm thick high-density XPE foam, these Gym wall pads and mats safely absorb and disperse the force from impacts. Also, these mats are wrapped PVC coating which helps to prevent against friction burns. This fabric is incredibly durable, with the ability to resist gouges, scrapes, and divots.
2. THEY ADD MORE USABLE SPACE TO YOUR GYM
Every training centre should have at least 2m of safety space between the wall and the training surface. This space provides a buffer should the athletes leave the training space, whilst also providing a walkway for the athletes to enter and exit their training session. If you’re limited in the amount of space that you have, Gym wall mats can allow you to minimise safety space, and allow athletes to train within a close distance to the wall without being hurt. This allows you to utilise the space in your gym, allowing you and your coaches to provide training and support to more athletes.

3. THEY CREATE A PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SPACE
Wall mats add a splash of colour to any room, and help to bring together any space. In fact, wall pads can even allow you to elevate your brand by pointing to the distinct colours that you’ve used to set yourself apart from the competition.
There are several ways that you can use wall pads to add to the colour of your gym, and one of the best ways is to match the colour of your wall mats to the colour of the mats of the training surface. When new athletes come to your gym, the first thing that they see is a crisp, professional training centre. Also, you can enhance the aesthetic of your training centre by using wall mats that are in a contrasting colour to the colour of the floor mats used to mark the boundary of the fighting surface.
Alternatively, you can use a different colour of wall pads from the main floor mats that you use. If you pair the colour of the wall pads with the same colour as the mats used for a defined safe space, you can create an easy to navigate training space for new trainees or younger athletes.
4. LAST, GYM MATS FOR WALLS ARE EASY TO INSTALL
You may not be handy with tools, and even the thought of swinging a hammer may make you a little nervous, but installing wall mats is incredibly easy to do. All you need to do to create your own bespoke wall pad plan is to measure out the square metres of the wall space. Each mat has chipboard attached to the back, and this allows you to effortlessly install the mats on the wall. These mats are available in two different heights, 1.83m and 1.2m, which allows you to choose the wall mats that fit the space that you’re in. As well, there is a slight gap at the bottom of the wall pads, so you can slide your floor mats underneath.
How do they arrive? Sold separately but boxed in three’s, shipped on a double pallet for the 1.83m pad, single pallets for the 1.2m version.
